Hi Mathias,

I'm the "German fellow", who has done a conversion of 9V motors to work on 12V
track. If interested follow this link and look into the "Lego Motor History"
section:

BTW: do you know the German Lego-Forum:

Hi there, is there any brick - or has anyone "build" one - which allows to connect 4,5V tracks to 9V tracks? (I first got a shock when I saw the 9V tracks...) Even so: Has anyone experience in tuning up 4,5V tracks to allow 9V trains to go on it - (...) (25 years ago, 14-Dec-99, to lugnet.trains)
