It should be noted that the referenced post was not a solicitation to
bid or buy (other than extremely incidentally) but was an invitation to
discussion. And discussion IS occurring, as I had hoped it would.
Readers who draw a conclusion of the form:
a) Larry just broke the no-auctions outside of .market.auction rule.
b) Todd just let Larry get away with bending the rules as he saw fit.
would be drawing an incorrect conclusion.
Posts to market.auction that are pure or mostly offers to sell or
solicitations to bid should NOT be cross posted to anywhere.
