Hi John,
All the rolling stock gets rotated. When the members are there. When the
OMSI volunteers are staffing the layout we let them run either stock or
robust MOCs. The other train clubs show some of their stuff in the cases and
this year we thought we would try. It really works well, spectators and get
close but we don't need to worry about little fingers.

Boy nothing gets by... We are trying on a new logo (totally inspired by you
guys). We when with the SPS (Spokane, Portland, & Seattle) logo and re
worked the words.  Most of the club likes it (certainly more than the orig,
a MOC, I must admit)

There is a few more pictures that I will add wih a few more buildings. How
about Kim's train station!  With all the new blood 2000 looks to be a good
year.

As far as talking feel free to send mail or re on lugnet. I love to talk!

Hi All,
We have a small-ish layout setup at OMSI Science Museum in Portland, OR. I
snapped a few shots last night during setup. Come have a look. www.pnltc.org

Looks great!  I especially like the showcase idea!  Explain now, do these
trains come out and run on the layout, or are they show pieces?  Also, is that
a new logo?  You guys need shirts, we need to talk;-)

(...) I LIKE the older(more modern looking) logo. Perhaps you can keep it for the eurotrashier parts of your layout (it evokes LEGO's own <-o-> and the britrail double arrow) and keep the new (older looking) logo for the US areas. (25 years ago, 13-Dec-99, to lugnet.trains)
