I've stated before--bad things happen when good people keep their mouths shut
whilst the vocal minority yip away.

You know, I didn't think of that, and it's a really good point Dave.  A lot of
opportunities are going to disappear when Jake and/or Lego finally get fed up
with us.

Treading ever so lightly into rtl since it appears to be the only sane part of
LUGNET right now.

I would wager there are more than a few people at LEGO who are already fed up
with the adult portion of their market segment.  While great strides have been
made over the past four to five years to serve the adult market, at some point
TLC will evaluate whether it is a market worth serving.  I really hope that
doesn't come to pass but it certainly won't surprise if it does based on the
behavior exhibited over the past few days.  Why market to adults if they are
only going to behave like spoiled children?

I simply don't get the entitlement mentality that seems to be cropping up with
greater frequency.

(...) Ya. AND THAT'S SCARY. Chris Magno: sane??? Well more seriously... .build isn't too bad. In fact can I put a general pitch/plea in? If you see a MOC you like, and you think it worthy, *spotlight* it.. that's one way to move the non MOC stuff (...) (20 years ago, 21-Dec-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
