First, good luck at this weekends show. Once you have recovered, I was wondering if you had decided about participating in the 2003 NMRA annual convention? I kinda thought we'd put on new trains by setting them at the top of the ramp and letting them zip down on their own. You know, I completely bafflegabbed that message. The joint between Ramp 1 and 2 is exactly *6* bricks. However, that does indeed mean that the joint between the 2nd and 3rd curve segment on that turn is 4 bricks, so we're good. Me not talk so good. (...) Looks great, Dave! Sorry I didn't get back to you earlier about track heights. The joint between Ramp2 and Ramp 1 is exactly 4 bricks elevation. "Standard" track height on the layout is 1 plate (to allow curves, switches, etc). I adhere to the (...) (22 years ago, 12-Jan-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

I have a coworker here who brought in her son's RCX, and unfortuantley he left the batteries in too long, and they've leaked onto the contacts. She took it appart (...) BOLTS!!!! It suddenly came to me, about a minute ago: I don't want Ts. I *REALLY* don't want to deal with Ts. And, I agree that friction fit pipe probably will not hold without some sort of support. Good idea. I think there's a better way though. Simply use PVC cement. Instead of completely coating the inside of the pipe with cement, use only a few drops. This will secure the pipe strongly enough that it can be twisted free at the end of the (...) (22 years ago, 8-Jan-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
