I'm hoping someone who reads here might have an answer, I can't think of it
myself!

I have a coworker here who brought in her son's RCX, and unfortuantley he
left the batteries in too long, and they've leaked onto the contacts.

She took it appart last night, and showed me that the acid had only corroded
the contacts down low, like, there was no dammage in the RCX.  So I think
she can just clean the contacts and it will work...

So the question is, with what should she be trying to clean up the contacts
with?  Is there some kind of liquid that can be swabbed onto them to wipe
off all that junk?

What kind of batteries?  They be alkaline.  I've read you can use lemon
juice or vinegar to neutralize the alkaline.  Use a swab to apply.
