  TLG - Online Ordering
 
When you look at it, Lego has a pretty nice corporate web site. A bit slow, but I think it is pretty good for a catalog-type site. I'm wondering if Lego has made any indications of moving into the world of online ordering... This could be good or (...) (26 years ago, 13-Jan-99, to lugnet.general)

Like the great Holy bag mystery here is another strange Lego observation. Why do MiniFig legs have such long studs on top to attatch them to bodies? I agree that TLG is spreading itself too thin. The CD games are marginable from what I've read about problems installing and playing them. The subject is under discussion in lugnet.build, which I would posit as a better group. The 1x1 with side stud is capable of changing direction in just slightly larger than 1x2 brick space. I finally got my 8880 Super Car, and after I was finished, I brought it into my office. Currently at my office, I have a model of the Diablo. After looking at the two, it appears that the base shape of both are EXTREMELY similar. Of course with (...) (26 years ago, 12-Jan-99, to lugnet.general)

Odd ... Lego Loco allows you to install everything, and not need a CD anymore, and that is a recent title from Lego. (...) Runs too? :-) The problem wasn't with install, it was with launching the program. (Well, OK, some had problems with install, but most problems show up when running the program, as it reads the copy protection scheme on startup). BTW, the docs (...) Well, a large part of your "luck" is HAVING Walmarts that 1)Stock enough to end up overstocked for clearances 2)Have enough stock to last through several rounds of clearances 3)DON'T have so many people buying Lego locally that nothing last past the (...)
