I've been reading the LUGNET groups for a few weeks now and thought it's
time to say Hi. I'm 40, always loved Lego as a kid in the UK and have
played with my daughter's sets at intervals over the years, but for some
reason this Xmas I just got sucked right back in again. All the Lego (my
own stuff from the 60's and 70's and my daughter's) is in cardboard
"lingerie" chests <g>) in the living room and things keep getting built
every time I have some spare minutes. Great fun. Right now there's a
neat little red motor cruiser sitting on my computer monitor. complete
with all required nav lights (masthead, stern, port and starboard),
searchlight, radar, VHF antenna, anchor winch, horn and ensign. Oh, and
two liferings and a GPS. Can you tell I'm into boats in real life? It's
based on the design in the back of "The World of Lego Toys" but
considerably modified. I'm planning a dockside/harbour layout at some
future time.
Anyway, Hi, nice to meet y'all

If you have a website with pix of your creations, we'd like to see them, so post your URL if you've got (...) (27 years ago, 12-Jan-99, to lugnet.general)
