One of the biggest problems I find in writing instructions is what to include - too little, and you can't get started, too much and you drown in (...) When are the PT rendered images updated? Only when they are submitted or also when any sub-parts they contain are submitted? (...) Yep. The only thing that matters is where the file being referenced is located. LDraw looks for files in 4 places: in parts\, p\, models\, and relative to the current directory. Irregular pieces with limited need for subpart structure and primitives, like minfig accessories and headgear, strike me as the perfect thing to create with an interactive 3D modeling tool like 3dsmax, Maya, Rhino, Milkshape3D or whatever people (...) Would making the pattern face of a slope (or wedge) a subpart to be used with the main piece (without face) subpart be ok? Wondered when these (pn 6057 and pn 2541) would be pulled up! I suppose I should have asked back when I sub-parted the small rigging to make the large rigging, but I took the easy way out and just stuck with how the original official part had done (...) Hi, could anybody explain these? For example 44237 is valid mold number for 'new' Brick 2 x 6. I don't know what are differences to 2456 and I don't care much. dear authors, I thought al lot about hold voted parts an orphans over the last couple of weeks. getting a hold vote at the PT to me is almost a slap in the face therefore I try to fix my parts as soon as I can. at the same time I'm also aware that (...) Scala Jewelery Rings set 4306 contained three different sized rings. Unfortunately I have only two of these rings, so I could not create all three.
