You're right, it was catually called freestyle at the time. I couldnt remeber
the transitiional name between "basic" and "creator." The sets I am thinking of
are ones like 3226 (http://guide.lugnet.com/set/3226.) Unfortunately the
pictures for many of these sets are missing. The one set I thought had several
of the pieces was a freestyle set with a large green baseplate that you put
stickers on, but the baseplate itslef didnt have any studs- you ha to use small
8x16 baseplates and one 16x32. Peeron is missing inventories for many of these
sets as nwell, so that may explain why there are no sets listed.
