But...Vader's TIE did have hyperdrive and it was the only advanced model that
we see in the original trilogy.

| (...) Hold your breath... The TIE Advanced is also considered a design study, looking into the maximum potiential of the TIE design. The wing of a TIE is a solar power collector, the bent design allows for greater coverage, and increased visibility (...) (26 years ago, 10-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)
