True. From personal experience, people in real-life prefer to talk in their
native toungue if they know that the person will understand them. I've seen
lots of families in which the parents constantly speak to their kids in one
language, and the kids reply in another; it's not unusual in billingual
families. I suppose that the SW-characters know that the other creatures
understand their language.

My skills in speaking in french have only really developed in the last few years but my understanding has always been strong. I remember in high school (...)
