Has anyone figured out how to use the Generate LASM Cmd in Robolab 2.5? Help says: Simply wire in the lines of text into LASM Cmd and have the Begin and End wires on either side. The new 2.1.4 Version of pbForth has a minor fix that affected programmers using the MARKER word. I recommend you get the new 2.1.2 GUI while you're at it because it is less agressive in stripping comments when uploading scripts. This was causing (...) At first, it seems logical that firmdl3 would be the best place to make the change. However, it was very easy to allow the Host ID to be changed at runtime. A polaroid filter attached to a pendulum works very well indeed. You need a lightbulb, a piece of polaroid attached to a pendulum, a fixed piece of polaroid then a photoresistor. I get this error - "main() not defined" - when compiling. The code is copied straight from the Ferrari book. While C is the language of my choice, the line of code isn't so obtuse as to hide errors from me. So probably there is some other requisite (...) (23 years ago, 20-May-02, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

The buttons "1", "2" & "3" send a IR message to the RCX. The RCX must be running a program that will respond to one or more of those messages. The A, B, C buttons will activate the RCX outputs forward or reverse. This requires only the installed (...) (23 years ago, 20-May-02, to lugnet.robotics)

Hi, I have install the last legOS and have install lnpd to. But i have a problem when i run an applcation lnptest for example : it don't work.... Here is the problem "lnp_init: Network is unreachable". I run lnpd with the command "lnpd --nolock (...) (23 years ago, 20-May-02, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) It definately said "could not open serial port" (I typed it in quotes even and copied it directly from the program). The NQC version is the latest off your page (2.4_r2). (...) My first guess on this problem is that the firmware is no longer loaded on the RCX. Check the LCD display - if it doesn't show 5 digits (e.g. "00.00 1") then the firmware isn't installed. If you can locate the firmware file (typically called (...) (23 years ago, 20-May-02, to lugnet.robotics)

I've posted a patch at sourceforge which allows you to modify the RCX's LNP id using the util/dll program. This should make life easier for those of us using multiple RCXs and LNP. (...) The main problem comes from the heat generated. This isn't a problem, unless you're driving motors fairly constantly with your RCX, but can eventually cause the diodes to break down.
