That's what left-liberals and Democrats paint all Republicans, and shame on
Mccain for doing it. And you wonder  why most Republicans didn't vote for
him.

I certainly wonder that.  He was there only chance of winning the election.
We'll be welcoming (or whatever) President Gore next year.  Uggh.

Followed by Bush deciding that for the primaries at least he had best • stick to
basics and gave out the following:

McCain - liberal  conservative - Bush

Well, Mccain did have a lot of left-liberal ideas, did he not?

Ummmm...not the McCain that I watched.  Which leftist ideas do you mean?

And he played
himself like an outsider in the realm of politics, when he wan't. Like Larry
said, theya re all politicians, even Mccain.

I think he tried and mostly succeeded in portraying himself as a reform-minded
candidate, not a political outsider.  Everyone knows that he's a career
politico.

Well, if you are running for the nominiation of a party (Let's not get into
the whole primary debate again) would you not agree that you would want a
nomination of the people in the party? Just a question... We shall see in
November.

Normally, but really, it's a complex system and any way to get the votes you
need will work.  It just didn't this time.  Pitty.
