I’m not sure I see the difference between worthless and meaningless in this context, but I’ll take it up as a vocabulary lesson later.

Meaning, God gives our lives purpose, God gives us hope, God gives us strength to carry on each day; to live. Without that motivation, what is the purpose of life? To quote an atheist Bertrand Russell: “Unless you assume a God, the question of life’s purpose is meaningless.”

Who gives purpose to God? You do. The argument is circular. Why not cut out the invisible middleman?

The purpose of life is to make things better. What is better? I don’t know. You decide. For me, order is better than chaos. Happiness is better than sadness. Works for me...

So any type of clever equivocation on your part is simply wrong thinking.

Oh, If only I were clever.

Have fun,

Don
