Don, you completely miss the boat in your analysis. I said life
without God, is meaningless.

Im not sure I see the difference between worthless and meaningless
in this context, but Ill take it up as a vocabulary lesson later.
|
Meaning, God gives our lives purpose, God gives us hope, God gives
us strength to carry on each day; to live. Without that
motivation, what is the purpose of life? To quote an atheist
Bertrand Russell: Unless you assume a God, the question of lifes
purpose is meaningless.
|
Who gives purpose to God? You do. The argument is circular. Why
not cut out the invisible middleman?
The purpose of life is to make things better. What is better? I
dont know. You decide. For me, order is better than chaos.
Happiness is better than sadness. Works for me...
|
So any type of clever equivocation on your part is simply wrong
thinking.
|
Oh, If only I were clever.
Have fun,
Don
