Yes, Larry has a "tiresome" way of asserting the existence of some arguments
that should silence us all, but then never actually putting any of these
things into words.  It's as if he sits there smug and superior, knowing all
and revealing nothing. He risks nothing by saying nothing. Ignore him.

Actually I was trying to imply without saying it that I consider Larry a
friend and I respect his opinions, when he lists them ;)

My friends and I are always, "Put up or shut up", "Put your money where your
mouth is", when we state something unequivocal.

Like, "There are these 4 marbles..."  I never did get the 100 dollars 'cause
he's still not swayed by the reasons why he's wrong...

Oh well...
