  Re: After X-mas sales

I'm excited to check out my regular Wal-Mart due to what I heard some Lego reps discussing. Back in the beginning of Dec. there were 3 reps there setting up a Duplo train display and they were basically in awe as to how much Lego this Wal-Mart had (...)   Mery Christmas!

I am the first to say so, too. Yes, I noticed the "Happy Holidays", but it don't say Merry Christmas. Twas the night before Christmas, not a creature was stirring, just my mouse, as I write this..... -- Instructions for usage of Ickna: Ickna should (...) (26 years ago, 25-Dec-98, to lugnet.general)

  Re: After X-mas sales

(...) Unfortunately, or fortunately depending on your perspective, Target is already running a 40% off sale that has really cleared out the shelves. At least that's the case at my local Target (So. CA). About the only thing left are Mag Wheel (...) (26 years ago, 25-Dec-98, to lugnet.general)

  Removing printing from lego parts

Do you hate the printing on the u.f.o parts? Well I have used a technique from my years of scale modeling to remove stupid printing from Lego pieces. By using various grades of automotive sandpaper and Blue Magic metal polish. I buy it in the (...) (26 years ago, 25-Dec-98, to lugnet.general)

  New Catalog

I just got the new Out of this World catalog today with the Star Wars sets. The SW sets look nice, but the rest is severely lacking. Are there any hgh quality SW scans online yet? If not, I can scan them in. My grievance is with Town. I'll be (...) (26 years ago, 25-Dec-98, to lugnet.general, lugnet.starwars)

  Re: lego.com catalogue updates

(...) Hrmmm, what's the general opinion on the value of those packs at $4.50 each? I don't have a S@H catalog in front of me, so I can't compare them to the older red or blue packs. (26 years ago, 24-Dec-98, to lugnet.general)

  Re: After X-mas sales

(...) Do yourself a favor and put that pocketbook away for a few weeks. The sales begin pretty quickly, but the only way you'll ever see the legendary 70% off sales is if you excercise some self control and ignore the run-of-the-mill 20% sales (and (...)   Target Sale: NOT A HOAX

Someone returned empty-handed from a Target and was wondering if the rumored sale was a hoax. I can assure you that it is not. I visited four Atlanta area Targets today. I spent a total of $125, and got the big fiber-optic UFO set, both smaller (...) (26 years ago, 24-Dec-98, to lugnet.general)

  After X-mas sales

Do the clearance sales at Target start the day after X-mas, or a bit later? Also, what other U.S. stores have similar sales? -John Van (pocketbook ready to go) (26 years ago, 24-Dec-98, to lugnet.general)

  1999 Technic US Catalog

While looking for closeout deals at Target (Orlando, FL) this afternoon, I ran across the first Technic 1999 set. It's the Police buggy (8252). I haven't built the set yet but it came with a 1999 Technic catalog and a 1999 Technic S@H insert. There (...) (26 years ago, 24-Dec-98, to lugnet.general)

  1999 Technic catalogue scans uploaded

I bought an 8252 today and got an in-set European/Asian Technic catalogue. Its a bit disappointing as it almost certainly does not show the whole range. You can see it at: (URL) Holidays! Huw (26 years ago, 24-Dec-98, to lugnet.general)

  Happy Holidays

Well, I've spent the last few days being wonderfully ill, so I don't remember how I got here, but we're in Florida now and I wanted to sigh on and wish everyone a happy holiday season.   Legos Mentioned at Jennicam
