Agreed ... the only thing I would like to make sure is that there are no out-dated versions hanging arround somewhere in the net. Ahhh, this license is ment for developers of programms only , not for autoring parts!!!!! I've to corret that in the document. Hello. Would it be easy to implement an "Explode" feature in MLCad? I.e. if you have inserted a "model" in your file, and explode it, it will be divided into the parts it's built up of. And then youy can explode, and explode till you're at the (...) (22 years ago, 1-Aug-02, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Hi Michael, Just noticed that the parts list report seems to be inaccurate dealing with sub-models. If I include a sub-model more than once in the main model, it only gets counted once, also if I create a sub-model but don't include it in the main (...) Hi, i've found some more commands in MLCad which I introduced totaly new, ... but long time ago. So there is this ROTATION command, which was used at the early days of MLCad instead of ROTSTEP. (...) Actually, LDLite has a ROTATE command, which is different than MLCad's ROTATION command. ROTATE is literally a directive to rotate a set of command-lines around a vector by a specific angle. The ROTATION command is a LDLITE command, not a MLCad command. You will find information about this command in the ldlite documentation I guess. Ok my cad model is nearing completion. But I am having problems with the 9v track and its many sub files. May I say you got that wrong? The license is ment for developers going to implement the command into theire own programs. I'm working on a program that automatically converts model descriptions in LDRAW DAT format and creates step by step construction and part list images using L3P and POV-Ray. Just install it onto the cd, the same way you would on the hard drive, then make a shortcut from mlcad to the desktop(or where-ever you want it) the shortcut should work as long as the cd is in the drive. I suppose you could do that. You cannot save settings though. So you will have to prepare your settings before you burn the CD I think... Has anyone ever thought about compiling MLcad for use with palm pilots or other PDA's? I'm not technically savvy enough to know what the difficulties would be let alone whether or not it's even possible. All I know is that it would make it an even (...) (...) erm, hate to sound like a know-it-all (cos I don't know it all) but the floor is a switch which isn't on by default. In L3P the switch to turn the floor on is -F. Update I downloaded the complete update for the parts. I extracted the file into the parts directory. Running mklist.exe returned a new parts list. However, the parts needed are not in the complete.exe. I took a look at the official parts list which (...) (22 years ago, 22-May-02, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

The 'cartoon' version that MegaPOV produces is MUCH better at allowing you to see the different pieces that are being added to the model in each step. See any of by building instructions (...) (...) first of all, which "plan" are you trying to open? If it is very recent, there may be many parts in it referenced that are not part of the OFFICIAL Ldraw parts list.
