So basically you DO NOT have access rights to 'install' software on the
laptop right? You're just a user with NO ADM rights. What version of
windows are you running? Could you get ADM rights so that you can install
sofwtare?

I have NOT tried to run MLCad off a CD but what I think you MAY run into
problems with is having MLCAD know where the LDraw parts library is at and
the P.lst and parts.lst lists. On your CD (THIS IS ALL SPECULATION AS I
HAVE NOT TRIED IT YET) you would at least have to have the CD:\Ldraw foder
with all its stuff and the P.LST, Parts.lst and S2L2LD.lst files (you get
all these files when you run the MKLIST.exe fiel) and a folder with CD:\MLCAD.
So if you want to try it I suggest that you copy your entire C:\Ldraw folde
from your HD and a fodler having the MLCAD application. The only draw back
is that this CD CANNOT be upgraded with new parts when they are avaliable.
