Hi Michael, Just noticed that the parts list report seems to be inaccurate dealing with sub-models. If I include a sub-model more than once in the main model, it only gets counted once, also if I create a sub-model but don't include it in the main (...) Hi, i've found some more commands in MLCad which I introduced totaly new, ... but long time ago. So there is this ROTATION command, which was used at the early days of MLCad instead of ROTSTEP. The ROTATION command is a LDLITE command, not a MLCad command. You will find information about this command in the ldlite documentation I guess. Just install it onto the cd, the same way you would on the hard drive, then make a shortcut from mlcad to the desktop(or where-ever you want it) the shortcut should work as long as the cd is in the drive. Update I downloaded the complete update for the parts. I extracted the file into the parts directory. Running mklist.exe returned a new parts list. However, the parts needed are not in the complete.exe. I took a look at the official parts list which (...) (22 years ago, 22-May-02, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

(...) How about using "draw to selected part" and selecting only the parts in the first step (or whatever step in question). That way you're not in view mode and can zoom/twirl as needed. I've become slighly annoyed with the fact that when I open and then save a .DAT file the NAME block in the file gets changed to *.ldr. I've been using MLCad to do part authoring anbd the Parts Tracker will not accept anything other than a *.dat in (...) (22 years ago, 17-Apr-02, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Yes. I also have done this several times, cursing my unsteady mousing hand afterwards. :-) This would be a great addition. Michael, Several times now I have gone to select Settings>Change and instead hit Settings>Default and my customized settings are lost. Not AFAIK. What other programs would be likely to register those file types? The only other programs I regularly use on the laptop are stuff like MS Office. I'm trying to find the problem (if there is one). Because in my case MLCad only asks once, then never again. So I wonder if you start any other application registering for ldr or mpd file types? Hi Michael, When I start up MLCad (2.12) it shows the following dialog: MLCad is not (properly) registered for it's file types. Register it now?
