OK
I loaded ldraw / MLCad on the PC at my office (NT) and it does the same
thing. This was a new install - never had it on that PC before. I looked in
Explorer, and it has LDR & MPD registered as "MLCAD document". But it still
asks me if I want to register them every time I start MLCad (until I switch
it off in settings).

| I'm trying to find the problem (if there is one). Because in my case MLCad only asks once, then never again. So I wonder if you start any other application registering for ldr or mpd file types?
