Can anyone tell me how to create a series of .pov files all with a slightly different name (i.e. file01.pov, file02.pov, etc.) that has slightly different camera coordinates for each file? In fact there are two versions of this part - neither of which are really like the existing dat file. type 1 - cylindrical handle adjacent to the body type 2 - cylindrical handle separated from body by approx 2LDu, but the spacers are cuboid, not (...) I have the same problem with my copy. Haven't anyone noticed this until now? I haven't. My thought was that the smoothing could be turned on and off, as appropriate. That would require metastatements in the parts files. Actually, there's an easier way. When you see a message with the keyword [DAT] in the header, simply right-click on that darker text [DAT], and if you're using Internet Explorer you should automatically be asked where on your harddisk you want to (...) I've had the same problems several times in the past. Eventually, I just got a download that worked. I don't think there's anything wrong with the file located on the server. Something just goes wrong during the download. I don't know how to fix it. (...) (23 years ago, 22-Sep-01, to lugnet.cad)

Instead of shoving all these metastatements into files, maybe a file conversion utility (DAT -> POV) should keep an INI file that records which parts can be processed in this way, and which cannot. Opps, I didn't include the URL! (URL) I fixed the code so that it will work with ActiveX. Be sure to download the QT plugin if you don't have it (even though some don't like QT, it does cool 360 x 360 degree object rotations). (oh, and I know 2 of (...) (23 years ago, 22-Sep-01, to lugnet.cad)

Did you forget the link, or am I missing something? :*) Anyways I have IE 6 and most web surfers use some form of IE 5+ so I'd make sure it works for them. I also have Mozilla 0.9.4 and NS 4.7(ewwwwwww!!) for website testing and such... (...) (23 years ago, 22-Sep-01, to lugnet.cad)

I am testing my Lani application and have made a QuickTime VR object of a generic car (180 M). Please look at it and let me know if you can view it. Appearantly, I can't even see it in Netscape, but I can in Explorer (both on the Mac). I don't know (...) (23 years ago, 22-Sep-01, to lugnet.cad)
