One can point to individuals in both parties in letting Enron go wild, but
it really was the baby of the Republicans. Bush loved 'em. As to the
oft-repeated but inaccurate claims that the environmentalists had somehow
blocked construction of new plants and that it was just good old supply and
demand, it just ain't true. Enron did, however, manipulate the power grid
to create artificial shortages. These guys couldn't do an honest day's work
if you paid 'em (crime paid better).

Utter obliteration is better than allowing a petty dictator to exist? Words
fail me.
