You can find hundreds of descriptions on the web. This was the first
which had an extensive description.

Thank you for the link; I'd never even heard of "ENFP" before, so it was
all news to me.  But at a quick run-through, the test seems problematic.

I didn't look at or take the test at this site, so I can't comment on
their specific set of questions. The first time I took the indicator, I
balked at these binary questions. The trick is to pick the answer which
best fits your true feelings. There are a number of questions for each
pair of indicators. If you play the game, it actually works pretty well.
I also at first balked at the forcing you to a particular category, but
I can see that each person does have a natural category. What was
missing the first time I took the indicator (and was presented
yesterday) was that circumstances will cause us to operate in other
modes sometimes. The indicator is also very susceptible to the situation
in which you are taking it. When I took it the 2nd time, I was quick to
understand why the first time I came out almost opposite (INTJ). I
actually come out close to the middle.

Actually, they probably should have you check off which questions you
find contradictory or nearly impossible to answer. I bet the set of
questions which bother a particular individual could be used to confirm
their type.

Oh, just looked around the site. The set of questions you are looking at
is not the MBTI self assessment. That questionnaire is something aimed
at telling you you need the career counseling services offered by the
site...

Here is the MBTI self assessment:

Ok, just took that indicator. It looks like a good one, here's my
results:

Your Type is ENFP
  Extroverted Intuitive Feeling Perceiving
Strength of the preferences %
  44          56        33      33

Which is consistent with what I've got in the past.

I have collected a largish sample (two batches of 30) of these tests before. After a few I noticed there are two types of test-takers: those who are all-or-nothing to whichever side of each scale (almost half the sample), and the rest. I said this (...)
