Guys, were only talking about a Few People here. There are only a Dozen at
best Mecha Builders who contribute to the .Mecha community who are
unaccounted for. The links that are out of date have been out of date for a
long time, and they were put there by the originators of Lugnet. They have
since been left behind. They have been left to stagnate.

I was attracted to Lugnet and the Resources List in particular for a reason.
I wanted to be on that list, to share my creations and meet people. I sent
money expecting a service. I got that service and more, much more than I
ever could have expected, except one thing. Our group seems left out! You
people have got to understand, half the people who post in .mecha are adults
and the other half, no insult intended are kids. The Adults, I could count
them on one hand that have a web-site. They Don't seem interested in
Curatorship. The other half are kids, Are you gonna hand over control to a
minor?

You all have these opinions but you care not for the Genre. You don't build
like us, the glory, the pain. Uh!

What time do you spend looking every time at the same old debunk links like
the Mechers do? Spend time walking in our shoes....

Look, Mladen Pejic was the only recent addition and that's close to a Year
ago, I'm happy for Him. His site totally deserves to be added. It was there
and he got a New URL, then he had no trouble getting onto the list, did he
do it himself? or did someone care enough a year ago to help him out and put
his new site URL to replace the old one.

What if that scenerio existed today? New URL and OLD Link still up. Wouldn't
that upset you?

I'm glad Mladen got his site link updated before .mecha got lost in the wind.

And about the money. We all paid our dues. If anyone did'nt they should. If
we all opened our pockets as much as we could, perhaps we would'nt be in
such a bind. What's wrong with expecting the leadership of the site to come
around and do Maintainence once and awhile? Sure lot's of work and behind
the scenes stuff, it looks to me from my vantage point that nothing is being
done, and we are just gonna stagnate. You want someone to come forward to
run .mecha - well nobody can or will at this point  for many reasons. Lugnet
still has an obigation to the community even if there are but a dozen or so
that post from time to time.

Like I said I hang there I care. I don't want the curatorship. I have enough
on my plate. Others who are still to come that may end up becoming a Curator
may be turned off by all the dumb links sitting about - huh, and lack there of.

If anyone by now has one Iota of an Idea of how happy it would make me to
see the links updated, I'd buy you dinner and a Lego set.

Look, the other thing that you folks are missing is, we don't need a
revolving updated list of insane proportions. We just need a few links taken
out because they don't work anymore.

In return We would like just a few links added in their place.

I would like one.
Mark Nuemann would be nice.
Bryce McGlone
Sun Yun
Chris Snead
Tony Knaak
Stuart Immonnen
Ryan Wilhem

So your saying Suz that were just unimportant enough to add to the links
list, well that stinks.

Thing is I could really appreiciate if you let me, the time engery and
resources it must take to keep up with Lugnet and keep up with your own life.

I'm a hard worker, I work hard and work to be smart, I am not
underestimating the possibility that it must be incredible difficult.

I appeal to you, I cannot submit to a stagnation, a stalemate on the subject.
The .Mecha group heavy hitters club are essentric old coots that come around
like Christmas. People are interested in their stuff, evan if they only post
around once in awhile despite themselves and their popularity.

Do it for the community, not because we oughta do ourselves, I wish someone
would trust me. Then I wouldn't have to talk you all into it. And be target
for quibbles and what if's.

The list doesn't need daily weekly or monthly updates, sheesh once a year
seems to all we can get lucky with!

Last thing I gotta say is this:

I'm featured on the Official Lego Web-Site, that's the real deal! And Lugnet
is the place to be if your into Lego right? Well what gives! Wake up you
people are behind! Admin. Don't you feel second rate not at least keeping
pace with the Grand-daddy of them all the great and Mighty Lego Company
Web-site!

They were kind enough to give me a Link, and ya, if FTX is as easy as ya'll
make it out to be could anyone spare 5 mins. to help out a club member here!?!

I'm asking for Help, I asked please, I understand there are limitations in
people power. Please for a Freind of Lego for crying out loud!

If anyone knows me, they know I hang around the .mecha group. So why isn't
my name on the list! Oh the Scandal!

When may we expect a courtesy house cleaning from the Superiors?
Our group is looking pretty bad for the moment.

I like Lego Mecha, it's fun.

Please consider this, As an Artist amking contacts is crucial to continual
movement, you guys wanna help me out?

And snive remarks about being a Curator and not earning your wings in Mecha
is really a waste of time and is forbidden.

How many heat sinks do you own?

Thank goodness for the Lego Mecha Hall of Fame. At least the Founders know
what time it is!

Never give up never surrender - only to the Brick.

(for the record, Suz, I am dissapointed that you chose to respond to another
persons post rather than me who asked this whole question to begin with. I
asked it's polite to repsond to me, and not to add to someones post who
happens to validate your point before you even made it. I'm very
disapointed, I thought you would over look all of the noise and home in on
my request.

And why have our other requests gone unanswered? That is very rude. At some
point our requests must have been read and then ignored. Why didn't you or
someone at least appologize and say sorry we just can't do it right now. If
your busy right now, then what about next week, or the week after, or next
month? Can you fix our links in two months from now? Next year?

If you are having difficulty with time constraints I ask you, what amount of
money is worth your time? I prepared a *short list* of removals and additions
would you be willing to work with me on the FTX side if I give you the
information. I will pay you directly to edit the Link resources list for a
one time only deal. I would like to send another Yearly contibution anyhow.

Keep in mind every time I think about winning the Lotery, I think of buying
you an office and a Yaght. You have thousands now that I bet at least some
would do the same.

What was it we used to say in UPS, you never know who someone may turn out
to be, treat somebody wrong and later in life they may end up to be our
biggest customer.

And Larry I post here because I don't agree with you at all.
