The response to this that I got from Customer Service was that US S@H had run out of some recently discontinued sets (within the last year or two), and that Canada S@H had been providing some of these recent sets to fill in the gap. I gave it a try too. The operator I spoke with mentioned that they have some of the Wild West and a few other UFO-type sets (I don't know those since I don't collect that theme). Well, I just called S@H and Customer Service and both had the same answer untimately...there is no Canada S@H stock or if there is, they don't know where it is. I have wondered about this as well. My take (as previously stated) is that WMs operate on a multi-level price-control scheme. My Wal-Mart had close to 25 Air Zep's for forever at $9... Friday there was 1 minus the tail for $5... no sign of the others... The 8479 Bar Code Multi Set was 164.00 in S@H. The 8456 Fiber Optic Multi Set was 74.00 in S@H. So probably the MSRP's were 149.99 and maybe 66.99 respectively. Some of the numbers (typically ones ending in .00) were originally entered by LouZ long ago for the original Pause resource, and a number like 164.00 would've been the marked-up S@H price. They won't accept phone orders for items that are available from S@H. The Wolfpack Renegades set is fair game, though. They had 180 copies about an hour ago.
