My Wal-Mart had close to 25 Air Zep's for forever at $9... Friday there was 1
minus the tail for $5... no sign of the others... There were 5 CyberStingers
down to $10 which I snagged 3 of, but that was it for the clearance... now I
believe they have 2 huge areas (it's a Super Wal-Mart 24Hr) of Star Wars and
the regular area with 2/3 of an aisle of all the other themes (and a few Pit
Droids I think).
I might get roasted for saying this, but it's personal preferences... I'm not
big on the Star War lines... I have the Trilogy, went to see Ep.1, and planned
on seeing it a second time, but I'd rather see a smaller section dedicated to
SW and a bigger section of Technics (I'm not big on the Throwbots either, but
I think my son is going to get one for his birthday, so ask me after I've
played with it in two weeks.) All we have for Technics are the Bike Burner,
the slam racers and maybe one or two other $10-$15 sets...
I wouldn't mind, but it's the only decent LEGO outlet within half an hour to
45 minutes and that only gets to the closest TRU which is almost as bad
selection-wise.

It seems that some of the Wal-Mart stores had large stocks of items on clearance that "disappeared" all of the sudden. While (...) (25 years ago, 14-Feb-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)
