  Source for mini-lights (modding!)

Hello all of you non-Purists out there (any purists should stop right here)... Browsing my Lee Valley-Veritas woodworking catalog today I came across an item that caught my eye, and I think it will yours as well. Miniature lights, designed for (...) Stephen- (...) I couldn't find any frame rate settings on the WMP that came with my less-than-a-month-old 1.7 GHz Pentium M laptop running W2000. The default supplied player would run for a few seconds, then freeze a frame, then run and repeat. I (...) (22 years ago, 1-Feb-04, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Another new colour in set 8385?

(...) There is no cost-efficient way to do it. When dealing with solid particle coloring agents instead of dyes, the particles reorient with the flow pattern, which is where you get the dark banding from. The only way I can think of to get rid of it (...) (22 years ago, 1-Feb-04, to lugnet.general)

Re: Another new colour in set 8385?

(...) There are a wide number of metallic greyish colors that have been released. The six BIONICLE Toa masks were released briefly in a metallic "silver" that has a distinct green tint. Many TECHNIC parts (panels, Roborider heads, liftarms, (...) (22 years ago, 1-Feb-04, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Ikros and Copyright Infringement

(...) I believe the 20% rule applies to all parts of the music, not just the piece as a whole. Cutting out every fifth part doesn't count. If you use just the drum line, that drum line would still have to be 20% different (and yes, "20%" is tricky (...) (22 years ago, 1-Feb-04, to lugnet.general)

Hey Arne, Yes it has. I've noticed it in at least one new Bionicle set in the mask (the part # is 32571) although that part in this color is not yet listed on Peeron. I really hope that TLG doesn't go overboard with these metallic mixes. I dislike (...) (22 years ago, 31-Jan-04, to lugnet.general)

Todd- Can you (or someone else) suggest an application to view the montage at a slower rate (like 1 fps)? I'd like to set up the montage at a show for visitors to see. -Ted (22 years ago, 1-Feb-04, to lugnet.general, FTX)

New Skin Tones coming? (was: Re: Scans from new danish 2004 catalog)

Re: Scans from new danish 2004 catalog

(...) Yes, you are right. Previous HP figs were yellow. This new one has a different skin colour (unless the catalog is badly printed, but I don't think so). The same colour is applied at least to some of the Spider-Man figs as well. Kecia (22 years ago, 31-Jan-04, to lugnet.general)
