Can you (or someone else) suggest an application to view the montage
at a slower rate (like 1 fps)? Id like to set up the montage at a show
for visitors to see.

hooooo -- hmmm -- that would be, like, almost 4 hours to sit through. Wouldnt
you fall sleep?
Not sure off-hand about an application. I was disappointed with the
frame rate selections of MPEG (24 fps, 25 fps, and similar fractions)...
no 18 fps, no 12 fps, no 6 fps, etc. Might be possible in iPhoto to
set it up to play a montage that way, but I havent played with iPhoto
much.
Theres an all-day BrikWars session up in New Hampshire next Saturday
that Im going to, and will probably take 500-1000 photos at. Ill try
importing those into iPhoto and see what it can come up with...that should
be a good small experiment with frame replication.
Definitely, in the worst case, it would be possible to repeat each frame
24 times, and it should compact well. I just havent done this before,
but in theory it should work.
