I tried it in QuickTime and had a heck of a time configuring the playspeed and skipping frames when trying to pause. Windows Media Player on the other hand worked much better for my purposes (no axe to grind, just happened that way)...

I have WMP 9 Player on XP and I’m not sure if I must have downloaded a plugin, but there’s a Playback Settings under “Plugin->Enhancements” which allows you to run the video at various speeds (1/16, 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, 1, 2/1, blah blah blah). You can also step frame by frame, which worked very well for finding my MOCs :)

Todd - thanks for the fabulous work, and yes indeed my MOCs lit up brilliantly with your trained eye and professional equipment ;) If only I could trim my hand from one shot and print out the result...

Stephen- (...) I couldn't find any frame rate settings on the WMP that came with my less-than-a-month-old 1.7 GHz Pentium M laptop running W2000. Todd- This collection of photos is AWESOME. The four of us spent hours just skimming through for a first look. We are all looking forward to viewing a lot of it frame by frame.
