Is it the printing, the scan or my monitor...  but that HP minifig appears to
have flesh toned head and hands ?? Previous HP figs were standard LEGO yellow I
thought.

Ray

Yes, you are right. Previous HP figs were yellow. This new one has a different
skin colour (unless the catalog is badly printed, but I don't think so). The
same colour is applied at least to some of the Spider-Man figs as well.

Kecia

I disagree. I think it's standard yellow and blame the different hue on clever
lighting when the photo was taken.

Christian

This is *very* peculiar.

In the Danish catalog the Spider Man and HP figs clearly show 'natural' skin
tones. This was already hinted on by TLC, so it's very unlikely to be a printing
or lighting glitch.

But the new dutch catalog which the exact same pages and the exact same
photography, the same minifigs are clearly yellow!
I was very keen to inspect the skin tones and only noticed 'natural' skin in
small pics of the ferrari people.

So for some reason or the other, the catalog designers spend great effort to
hide or show the new skin colors, according to some erratic (or changing) TLC
marketing policy.

Eric
