Minifigs are one of the huge appeal of Lego, at least to people from my
generation. (The first sets I had had the armless variety.) Mucking with
that doesn't seem like a great idea to me either.

(...) I've had mixed feelings about this, but now I am prepared to welcome the changes. While I love yellow minifigs, I believe having the chance to see skin-toned figures will enhance the realism of the LEGO line. -Tim (20 years ago, 2-Feb-04, to lugnet.general)

I'm not sure I agree. but I am also not sure I think that changing from yellow to fleshtones (...) (20 years ago, 2-Feb-04, to lugnet.general, FTX)
