Two things: could you upgrade the Junk Ship's armor to medium and add a jump drive to it? I found the jump drive in Spraw and New Pacific Yards has agreed to affix it to the Junk Ship as well as upgrading the armor as part of the deal. And secondly- (...) Personnally, I'd rather that Earth didn't blow up. After all, I am kind of fond of it :-) I think the best way to do it is that the real Earth was lost in the mists of time, and any one of the current "Terras" could be the real thing, or none of (...) Anyway, to answer your question: When a player (a person who creates a ship to adventure in someone's sector) wishes to enter a sector, the Sector Mediator states the rules of that particular sector. Well, I purposely started in 2050 that way maybe we dodged a couple of disagreements. And my Terran history pertains only to North America until Earth explodes. Mmm, good questions. I guess these would need to be answered eventually on the behalf of many people. Basically, Starship is a very free form game in which one sends ships to different adventures ('sectors'). The sector mediator, who 'controls' each (...) Well, you know, it doesn't have to be a 2000-page document. I could hammer out 15 or 20 paragraphs easy on Helix. Every one or two could cover different aspects of the places and things.
