Idea for Saving Space on Starship Site

Hendo, you once mentioned that the images and such for the Starship site are
taking up a lot of space.  Why don't you host the pictures on Brickshelf and
link to them using HTML?

Make a Brickshelf account and upload the pictures there.  For instance,
let's say that you want a picture of the Icewind.  You upload it to your
account then open up the deep link.  Then, using HTML, you do the following:

<img src="LINK HERE STARTING WITH HTTP://">

It saves space on your server so you can put more things.  If you wish to
upload the images altogether instead of one-by-one, put them in a zip file
and upload it to Brickshelf.  It'll extract the zip and the images will be
there.

I posted this here rather than emailing so everyone can post their opinions
and thoughts.

(...) I think he meant that the page was too long, not that it took up too much hard drive. He wanted to divide the registries into different pages to sace space. -JHK (21 years ago, 12-May-03, to lugnet.gaming.starship)
