(...) I don't have an example of the Buffer Exchange, I've never used it. The model I pointed to before has an example of the Rotation Steps though. (...) This has NOT been fixed yet, but the soultion is very very simple. After using LPub and you want to use POV WITHOUT LPUb just open up POV-Ray and click on the INI icon button. Hi all, Does anyone have example DAT and/or MPD files that are using the Buffer Exchange, Ghost parts and Rotation Steps in MLCad? (...) Actually, you would have to put all the /P items into the main directory with the 48 segment files in a /48 subdirectory. You can do this. Just add the word "Unofficial" somewhere in the description of the part. Then, rerun mklist.exe. Afterward, edit the file MLCad.grp in the MLCad directory. Would it be possible to add a category for Unofficial parts to the MLCad tree? That way unofficial parts could be dumped into a separate directory (sorry, "folder") and yet still show up in the list. im running windows 2000 and get an error on startup that doesn't seem to affect anything. It says : MLCad is not (properly) registered for it's file types. Register now? yes or no. (...) no, your both wrong. the rotating/mirror problem is within q2dat. -bug report- when doing a 1 x 2 tile q2dat mirrors your quads. when doing certain panels or bricks, like for instance. do a 1 x 4 x 3 panel and make a quad in it. then save it. I run WinME (on AMD Tbird 1.4, 512MB DDR) and I've had a couple of DATs with many thousands of parts not LEGO models, I was using MLCad to redesign my living room on a 1 stud to 1 inch scale!), and never had a problem with it. (...) Bosh. Win98 is perfectly fine for this kind of thing; MLCad worked just fine for me for large models with a similar piece count and RAM size. It was a little slow, but it worked just fine. Wow 2000 parts now there you problem try not to make big models make them smaller or divided that models in to 8 dat or ldr files of 250 parts each so that way windows 98 SE can work with out pain is a crapy os I don't recomember to anyone 9x or ME (...) Hi Kerry, there is a known problem with MLCad on none NT machines which will be fixed in the next release. There is nothing what you can do against this message yet, but MLCad itself is still fully operational. You can delete the log file from time (...) (22 years ago, 21-Aug-02, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

I am getting the error "Invalid path (no Parts and/or P dir found)!" The program has been working for months, and all of a sudden I'm getting this. I want to take an mpd file then add several mpd files to it. The mpd file import does not recognize mpd files. It only allows dat and ldr. Also the models group does not list mpds so there is no way to put several mpds together. I am working with (...) (22 years ago, 19-Aug-02, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

To do this, hit the plus '+' key on your keyboard keypad (make sure number lock is turned off) until you reach the desired zoom level. To pan around, click on the (...) Hi everyone! I'm EXTREMELY new (just hours) to MLCAD and I was wondering if there is a way that I can move around within a window. This is an internal error message indicating memory problems. When reseting the stub memory is allocated, if that fails it means MLCad can no longer display anything on it's window and terminates. Agreed ... the only thing I would like to make sure is that there are no out-dated versions hanging arround somewhere in the net. (...) Note for onlookers: the key thing I get from Don's suggestion is that it reverses the "you may not distribute this spec" from Michael's document to "you can, and should, distribute this spec". Ahhh, this license is ment for developers of programms only , not for autoring parts!!!!! I've to corret that in the document.
