Put a version number and a publication date at the top of the spec
along with a recommendation to visit your website for the most up to
date version of the specification. You may even want to provide an
email address and suggest people email you if they find an out of date
version of the specs somewhere on the net. That way you can notify
whoever is providing an out of date version that there is an updated
specification.
I don't think this needs to be in the copyright section, but it should
be near the beginning of the specification.
