If I understand you right, you want to be able to zoom in and then pan
around. To do this, hit the plus '+' key on your keyboard keypad (make sure
number lock is turned off) until you reach the desired zoom level. To pan
around, click on the little hand, it's on one of the tool bars. You can
also move pieces around with the Keypad, see the MLCad help for the rest of
the Hotkeys.
