Thanks to the work of several parts authors (Kevin Clague, Steve Bliss, Matthias Paul Scholz and myself) who were in Mindstorms Developer Program, mockups of NXT parts were modelled in LDraw. (...) If you'd like a quick clean install of the parts library, you can test out the new LDView feature that does this for you automatically. All you need to do is rename your existing LDraw directory (so LDView won't find it), then run the (...) (18 years ago, 4-Jun-06, to lugnet.cad)

I downloaded and installed LPub ver 2.3.0.10 (that's the version I found linked from the page at the very beginning of this thread) It does have that ldglite button. I used the button to show it where ldglite is installed. It now allows me to pick (...) (18 years ago, 2-Jun-06, to lugnet.cad)

I'd use the "daily snapshot". It should match the latest Windows and Mac releases. I just never got around to testing linux build of of version 1.1.8, as you can see. I was able to make this render, using LPub, LGEO and (...) (18 years ago, 26-May-06, to lugnet.cad.ray, FTX)

Edit: The arrow keys always work in the direction of the last selected part. This functionality is very unlogically because one single parts moves to different directions by using the same arrow key depending on which other part(s) is (are) (...) (18 years ago, 25-May-06, to lugnet.cad.leocad)

Hello all, I'm trying to render using POV-Ray 3.6 and Mega-POV 1.21 or 1.1, and I am having some technical difficulties. No that's not always true. In order to have the arrow keys always work in the same directions follow this procedure: go to View -> Preferences -> tab 'Drawing Aids' and check the 'Fixed direction keys' option Succes, Robert (...) (18 years ago, 25-May-06, to lugnet.cad.leocad)

Hi, is it right that the arrow keys work in an other way now? If I rotate a part more than 45° using the shift + pageup/pagedown key, the arrow keys work 90° shifted. So if I have used some parts in different directions the arrow keys always work in (...) (18 years ago, 25-May-06, to lugnet.cad.leocad)

(...) Yeah, that makes sense. LDView will notify the server that it accepts gzipped content, but will work fine either way. It will just work faster when the response is gzipped. I have put them in ..\ldraw\parts and ..\ldraw\parts\s respectively. But LeoCAD seems to want to display the (...) (18 years ago, 22-May-06, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Something kind of weird... you can create a similar effect with two identical 3D objects. For example, take two identical pens, hold them so they converge towards you, and cross your eyes.
