Lost in all the color debate has been coverage of 2005 sets. Looks like this URL went live - (URL) new page shows five new bulk lego sets. They are packed in suitcase style handled boxes, not tubs. Hi Brian! One thing you'll notice that is different between ball joint and gear driven mechs is the range of motion using gears is very linear. I agree with the general thrust of this letter. Steve Demlow (34), Minnesota, $1,000-$4,000 annually before 2004; less than $100 on 2004-2005 sets. (...) 8644 is the lightest of the four racers. Mine has occasional hydroplaning where the others don't. The other 3 are heavy enough to create adequate FRICTION with the tabletop. I agree to returning to the old greys/browns (the new don't need to disappear, just bring back the old). I DON'T agree with this letter...as far as grey/brown color changes are concerned. To date, TLG has *yet* to give a *valid* reason for the change. One side benefit to LF (IMO) has been the spotlight pages on the judges. It's fun to read each judge's background, childhood favorites, etc. and then try to see how that reflects in his/her designs.
