  Re: Lunar Mining Colony

(...) The history of the colony has been divided into various stages of development with the high level details of what happens during each stage. (There's even a zoning plan to control what will go where.) There are several more stages to go, each (...) (24 years ago, 24-Jul-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.trains, lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

  Re: New train MOCs

Great work, Tom. I like the layout of your page-- very clean. And great looking MOCs. You are too good for 6 wide (come to the dark side;) (...) I found the high noses on your EMDs interesting. Are you working from specific pics? I wasn't aware of (...) (24 years ago, 24-Jul-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Yellow 4.5 volt motor

(...) The only ones that I know about is Sets 890 and 895. Those are both wind-up motors. Steve Martin martinsa@mail.com (24 years ago, 24-Jul-00, to lugnet.trains)

(...) rockface. (...) If you look at the last picture you'll see that the track *does* go into the mountain on both sides. The text accompanying the picture reads: "Eventually, a spur off the mining tunnel was routed out near the ore processor and (...)   Yellow 4.5 volt motor

Can anyone tell me what set the yellow 4.5 volt train motor came from, indeed, if the motor even came from a train set? Regards, Peter D. Simpson sterling@interalpha.co.uk (24 years ago, 24-Jul-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Please identify train parts

Howdy I've never been into the train sets (sorry!), but a recent bulk purchase of a random box o' parts yielded lots of train parts. I am trying to decide if I should eBay the bunch or keep them just in case they'll come handy in a robot or space (...) (24 years ago, 24-Jul-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: 138

(...) yeah, i've heard of that sale. tis one is definitly sealed and the box is as good as it can be after thirty years in the backroom of a toyshop. the intersting thing is that i got a nearly complete 118 as well and it looks like they are the (...)   Re: Lunar Mining Colony

(...) I found it! It's right here... (...) The regolith is seriously good. I wanna see that in a castle set, now. :-, You've really captured a sense of lonliness, and the drudgery of building a new moonbase from scratch. I love it!
