I found the high noses on your EMDs interesting.  Are you working from
specific pics?  I wasn't aware of high nose versions in these make (when I see
high nose, I think GP-9).

Southern and Norfolk & Western  (predecessor roads of Norfolk Southern)
typically got high nose versions of stuff, well into the 80s, IIRC. So I'd say
GP38 is very possible although I don't have the Diesel Spotters Guide cite to
prove it.

Tom indeed has been raising the bar, to the benefit of all of us. Glad to see
you acknowledge 8w as the dark side, John. :-)

Great work, Tom. I like the layout of your page-- very clean. And great looking MOCs. You are too good for 6 wide (come to the dark side;) (...) I found the high noses on your EMDs interesting. Are you working from specific pics? I wasn't aware of (...) (24 years ago, 24-Jul-00, to lugnet.trains)
