Note for the record that I've never asserted that Scientology is a "crime
syndicate" or a "criminal empire," nor have I described their fine website
as "absurdly idiotic." I have never in print advised anyone to consult
www.xenu.net or www.factnet.org. In addition, any claims that I have
decried Scientology as a sham religion or an organization of money-serving,
brainwashed zealots are likewise false.
