There _are_ also other brick building programs out there - I think I've • seen
at least five others, almost never talked about on lugnet.

Can you remember any names or URLs?  I'm always interesting in seeing a
new brick program.

Well, let's see what I can find (I'm offline while writing, so no internet
searches)...

- "Gryphon Bricks" - I know it has changed name, but I don't remember what
it's called today.
The program that got me started on BlockCAD. Commercial.

- "Block Designer" (Fubuki Kogarashi) - http://plaza4.mbn.or.jp/~fubuki/bd/
Nice design, although it seems to only have 1x1 pieces right now!

- "Lego" (Edmund Nussbaum) -
ftp://ftp.mpifr-bonn.mpg.de/pub/incoming/en/lego1v0.tar.gz
Not for building, but producing pictures

- Eric Harshbargers building applet, which is now on www.lego.com somewhere,
right?

- I know I've seen something French, but can't find any reference to it on my
computer now

- There was a program for producing lego instructions in PostScript...

- And, of course, Lego CAD, Lego Creator etc.

- All the POV libraries that exist without building programs (hand editing POV
scenes!).

I know I've seen more, probably while tracing around a Japanese POV web ring -
there are _lots_ of goodies out there, it's just a little hard to understand,
and not all Japanese programs work on my computer.

Block Designer is still installed on my computer, so it's probably one of the
better I've found.

OT: If you haven't seen the 'Bridge Builder' or 'Pontifex' programs, you still
have some fun waiting for you!
