Hi.
Yes, The best part about this is that we could actually make some
of the hinge parts in the library (The ones where the 2 pieces are
permenantly joined) actually be 'correct' as far as the way they
bend. There are some now, but as far as I know they are only
really useful if you don't want to bend them.
A tool like MLcad could add a 'bend' mode, where all parts with
embedded hinges can be manipulated. So now instead of having to
try to place 2 pieces and that little red tube all correctly, you
could just place the whole thing so that one part lines up. Switch
modes, and bend the other half to suit.
Of course the real trick would be to make anything you stuck to
one half of the hinge move along with it. :^)
