I don't think I would ever use clone parts (as in shape, not
necessarily as in producer) myself, but I definitely think
that we should admit that LDraw can be used for more than
just drawings of LEGO-models.
I you or somebody else would like to maintain a "non-LEGO"
section at ldraw.org, I think it would be fine. I am sure
you can count on help with the practical stuff from Tim as
well as from me (even though Tim dislikes clones :-).

I don't know if you have done it already, but posting the
URL for your clone-DAT's should be quite on-topic in
lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands. Ne c'est pas?
