It just hit me. Until just now I couldn't figure out why I couldn't get use to using MLCad, having started with LeoCad. It has to do with what elements are being shown on the screen. Michael - When you go into the new parts dialog (key shortcut I) and select 'custom part,' the open file dialog doesn't support .LDR. Ok, I think I understand. If I understand correctly, you just want to place the sub files into your main file so that they display in the correct place? For instance...if I copy the pieces that make up the minifig file and then change the active model to the guardhouse file, I cannot paste those pieces in. (...) Thomas, You can make your main file an MPD and load the extra models into it. On the Main Menu, select "MultiPart", then "Import Model...". That might do what you'd like. Hope that helps. The .ldr file format WILL NOT work with l3pao Ver 1.3.26 (latest version). You can select the file by choseing to see all files but it will NOT open it. Currenltly the only way to use MLCAD v2.11 with l3pao is to save yoru file as a .dat file. =( (...) (23 years ago, 3-Dec-01, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Hello (...) But the rounding error is still there when i use a stepsize smaller than 1 LDU :((((. If I set it to less than 1 LDU (lets say 0.1) I can move it with the mouse in that small distance but the arrow-keys won't work correctly. Greetings (...) (23 years ago, 1-Dec-01, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Bill, nice work ! Perhaps you can model the electronics some times. I noticed that rendering time rises if you put something into the transparent model (or even if you only use a transparent model). What about modeling 2 Versions? One for general (...) (23 years ago, 22-Nov-01, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Hello! Because i do part authoring with ML-Cad i would like to have the ability to zoom muuuuuch more than onl 300%. Sometimes i need like 2000%-8000% and more.
