(...) There were flexible axles in the Znap (motorized) sets. But they are much different than the ones in the 8448. The ones in Znap are "drive" axles, they allow the motor to be in one orientation and the item(s) driven to be in another. It uses a (...) A new release of stl2dat is available here (URL) creates now standard primitives n-4cyli.dat and n-4edge.dat. I am using a pentium 133 and still pleased. However, my monitor is 14 inch and i have some minor problems with the building views. Since he told me that nothing is fixed now, I would like to suggest another way of implementing the drag & drop feature: Since Windows has a real drag & drop mechanism, which is realy easy to (...) I added transparency. You can see how it comes out rendered on a RAGE II+ (my original G3/233 or anything newer.) I took some pictures of 3823.dat (2x4x2 windscreen). And I accidentally made a 30% translucent Car.. the one you were complaining the (...) (25 years ago, 7-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

I played with the QuickTime tools and my converter last night. The process goes like this: Process a DAT file with LTrans.pl (my program) to get a .3dmf file (8k) Use 3D Movie Maker on that to get a .mov file (8k) At this point you have a QuickTime (...) I just put a patched ldlite on my site. The repackaged binary is at (URL) the source is at (URL) someone confirms that these actually work then I'll add them to the main ldglite page there. This version should work with paths with space characters (...) (25 years ago, 6-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

OK I found a utiliity to create a LDraw MPD file on the ldraw.org website. How do I get an MPD file which I downloaded from the net into individual files. The source code has already been compiled by Steve Bliss for the create program. I have found (...) (25 years ago, 6-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad)

I have written a straight-to-QuickTime converter for DAT files. I don't know about making a QTVR file, but, it makes a 3DMF file which you convert in 1 step to a MOOV. The movie rotates the model in realtime in any QuickTime player. I am pretty (...) (25 years ago, 6-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)
