Lego on TV last night - Quantum Leap

I saw Sciography run a special on Quantum Leap and it turns out that their communicator thingy was just a bunch of transparent Lego bricks glued together! Fairly interesting... It looks like Lego has therefore gone more places than we thought. Mike (...) (26 years ago, 14-Aug-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: New theme suggestion - Parthia!

It's a simplification, but Parthia is one of those varieties of Persia that I was refering to.   Re: New MF model.

(...) I dont like it. I think its cool looking, but whats the point? It looks nothing like the MF, mostly because you used the official pieces to build a ship that is too big for them. Here's an interesting item up for auction. It's not mine. The seller says they are "promotional" - can anyone verify this?
