Hello Jennifer, Well, you did it again!! This model is simply amazing. I was very impressed. As usual, the functionality is very impressive. As you mentioned, the use of stickers adds a very realistic touch. Okay, now I'm going back to your page to (...) (24 years ago, 2-May-01, to lugnet.technic)

  Yet Another Technic Creation

Hello again folks, I have finally completed the web page for my latest Technic creation, a radio controlled Technic figure scale 8x4 truck with a hook lift system which allows the tipping and loading/unloading of skips (dumpsters).   Re: springless pneumatic pump

(...) Agreed... Large pumps suck at being motorized. But has anyone ever tried mounting one to a piston-like assembly? Maybe something that pushes and pulls it much like a human hand would. (...) during the old times (before my dark ages) 2L axles don't have the notches that you describe, but they naturally gain some irregular notches while trying to put it from a technic connector/toggle connector piece. Actually I remember I was (...) (24 years ago, 3-Aug-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: springless pneumatic pump

(...) You have failed to point out that moving involves a lot of heavy lifting. This can be reduced significantly by placing heavy objects on air-cushioned platforms. Air-cushioned platforms require air pumps. Purchase justified. Matthias Jetleb (...) (24 years ago, 1-May-01, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Small Axle

(...) It's not the same notch, their different. The one on the motor is rounded while the one on the 2L axle is set at a right angle. Steve (24 years ago, 1-May-01, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Small Axle

Its been my experience that the notches are used to "click" them into place. Example: slowly put one into a full gray (or red) bush, you can "feel" it "click" or "lock" into place. It does the same thing with axle connectors too. Hope this helps. -- (...) (24 years ago, 1-May-01, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Small Axle

(...) So now we just have to find out why the <part:6216m 4.5V motor> (as in <set:5101>) has the same notch on it's output shaft. (to pull the motor out? :) - David (24 years ago, 1-May-01, to lugnet.technic)

Boy are those little notches handy, too! I remember noticing the notches very soon after I left my dark ages. Most of my 2 long axles from before my dark ages have tooth marks from being removed from some other Technic piece. And I REALLY dislike (...) (24 years ago, 1-May-01, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Small Axle
