Speaking of truck operation, one of the annoying things about the loading and
tipping functions are that if you don't stop the motors at the endpoints, the gears
end up getting stripped of their teeth. Having a belt driven section to allow
slippage at end points just wasn't feasable, so there is certainly a case for limit
switches here, especially since someone posted a great design for those using a
diode in series with a microswitch on lugnet recently.
Next time I'm going to try fitting a diode and microswitch into a 2x2 brick :-)

| (...) Can I take the this oppertunity to confirm the damage done to Moc's during travel, it certainly makes you think when it comes to the building stage now. Chassis tend to be ok but cosmetic parts tend to come a cropper. Strangely my tank (...) (24 years ago, 2-May-01, to lugnet.technic)
